Dewey will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose steady presence anchored the lives around him. In his 48 years of marriage to his wife, Joan Edwards, he showed the kind of faithful commitment that is built day by day—through hard work, quiet courage, and a deep, compassionate regard for family. He leaves behind three children, kim Anderson, Tina Klutts, and Michael Edwards, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Throughout his working life, Dewey earned the respect of many as a great parts salesman for many years. His strong work ethic and reliability were matched by an easy humor that could lighten a moment and make people feel at ease, even in the midst of everyday demands.
Outside of work, Dewey found joy in riding motorcycles, following NASCAR, and spending time with his best friend of 70 years, RC Ward. These simple, familiar pleasures reflected a life lived with loyalty, warmth, and an enduring appreciation for the people and pastimes he loved most.
Dewey’s legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the friendships he kept, and the example he set—of devotion, compassion, and steadfast bravery in the ordinary and meaningful moments of life.
