Diana Kay Gibson, 52, of Lakeland, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2010. She was employed at Bellevue Baptist Church. Mrs. Gibson, the wife of Randy J. Gibson, also leaves 2 daughters, Krystal (Andy) Whitten of Tampa, FL and Shannon Gibson of Lakeland; a son, Philip Gibson of Lakeland; 2 sisters, Christy Burford of Whitney, TX and Kathy Chambers of Keller, TX; a brother, David Allen of Gatesville, TX; her mother and step father, Linda and Joseph Van Y; father, Frank Allen; and her mother and father-in-law, Joe and Mima Gibson of Bedford, TX. The family will receive friends this evening, Wednesday, September 1 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, September 2 in Pollard Chapel at Bellevue Baptist Church with interment to follow in Memorial Gardens, formerly Memory Hill Gardens.
