Donald D. “Tim” Everett, Jr., 75, of Memphis, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016. He was a retired Sr. Chief from the U.S. Navy and also retired from Schering-Plough. He enjoyed building and creating things with his hands. Mr. Everett is survived by his dear wife, Susan S. Everett; a daughter, Denise Raffanti; son, Joseph Everett, both of Memphis; two step sons, William (Lisa) Akridge of Lexington, TN and Benji (Catherine) Akridge of Bartlett; four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 42 years, Mary Everett and his daughter in law, Paula Everett. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday evening, February 9 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 10 at the funeral home. A private family committal will be at a later date.
