Don was preceded in death by his parents, William F. Grice and Peggy N. Grice.
He graduated from Messick High School and attended Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia, Mississippi.
Don enjoyed traveling. He also enjoyed attending shows at the Orpheum Theater and cheering for The University of Memphis Tiger Basketball team at the FedEX Forum.
He enjoyed entertaining his family and his friends at his home. Don loved being with people and he never met a stranger.
Don's family and many friends will miss him.
A memorial service for Don will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Grace St Luke's Episcopal Church, 1720 Peabody Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee, 38014.
