Donald Lee Nabors

Donald Lee Nabors, 84, of Bartlett passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital-Memphis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War, a member of Providence Baptist Church, loved NASCAR and Ole Miss football. Mr. Nabors was preceded in death by his first wife of 47 years, Mary Elizabeth Nabors; and is survived by his current wife of 15 years, Bonnie Nabors; son, Michael Nabors of Germantown; daughter, Donna Parker of Millington; step-son, Jimmy Cox of Memphis; step-daughter, Sherry Turner of Memphis; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 20, 2016 and a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2016 both at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN. The burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to Providence Baptist Church, 4351 N. Germantown Pkwy, Arlington, TN 38002.
