Doris Mae Moran-Carter, 93, passed away peacefully in a nursing home in Memphis, TN on July 6, 2023 at Memphis Nursing Home, Memphis, TN. She was born on May 26, 1930, to Fred & Louise Moran. She leaves two daughters, Karen Murdock and Marsha Lulloff (Butch), two grandchildren; Jon Michael Murdock(Megan); Malorie Lulloff-Meyers(Josh); one great-granddaughter, Kate Murdock; one sister Ersellee Kendrick
Mrs. Carter is predeceased by her husband Alfred Burton Carter, parents Fred and Maudie Moran, sister Freddie Webb, and son-in-law John Murdock.
Mrs. Carter graduated from Memphis Tech High School Class of 1949. She retired from Sears Crosstown April 1992 as a Telephone Operator.
A graveside service for Doris will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
