Doris Kathryn Greene

On November 1, 2017, Doris Kathryn Greene went home to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John Richard Greene, Sr., her sisters Polly Smith of Loxley, AL, and Hazel Ledet of Catawba, NC, and her brothers Theodore Smith of Loxley, AL, W. C. Smith of Robertsdale, AL and John Riley Smith of Loxley, AL. She was the daughter of the late Riley and Connie Smith of Loxley, AL. She leaves behind her sister Maudie Weisinski of Gulfport, MS; her children June Webb of Southaven, MS, with whom she lived, Richard (and Jo) Greene, Jr., of Memphis, TN, Douglas Greene of Southaven, MS, Karen Myrick of Horn Lake, MS, Kay (and Ron) Weiss of Byhalia, MS, Donna Greene (and Allecia Freels) of Orlando, FL, Cindy (and Randy) Papa of Marvell, AR; and her 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2017 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN.
