Doris W. Vick, 83, of Bartlett, passed away on Thursday November 21, 2013. Mrs. Vick, the wife of William T. Vick for 65 years, is also survived by three daughters, Jamie Davis, Judy Polak and her husband Paul and Linda Horst and her husband Arthur; a son, Harry Vick and his wife Brenda; a sister, Ethel Holcomb; a brother, Vernon Walker; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, William K. Vick and a grandson. A Celebration of Life service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 26 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Friends and family will gather beginning at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial gifts be made to either Forever Young Senior Wish Organization, Midsouth Transplant Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
