He is survived by his two children, Deborah Michael (Dan), and Jerry Nichols Jr. (Mary); 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Swinehart (Jack), Matthew Michael (Ali), Lindsay Massey (John), Jay Nichols (Marie); 5 great-grandchildren; Lauren Swinehart, Cora Michael, Evan Nichols, Noah Nichols, and Mia Massey.
He was a retired data processing manager for International Harvester Memphis Plant and systems analyst for HealthSmart Memphis.
A graveside service for Edmund will be held Monday, October 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
Family requests any memorials be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of the donator’s choice.
