

Ed Miller, 87 was welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior , May 17, 2023 in Brownsville, TN. He was born April 21, 1936 at the family farm in Mitchell, Sheboygan County, WI, the son of William Emil and Dora(Rosebrock) Miller. He was educated at a one room schoolhouse, Spring Farm School in Mitchell and was a 1954 graduate of Plymouth High School. He was employed by a painting contractor in Plymouth. He proudly served his country in the 32nd Infantry (Red Arrow) Division of Wisconsin Army National Guard. In 1961 his unit was activated by President Kennedy during the Berlin Crisis and spent a year on active duty at Fort Lewis, WA. He was later employed at Vollrath Company in Sheboygan. In 1976 the company relocated him and his family to Memphis, TN. He had a passion for mission work and one of his acts of service was go to India helping to rebuild after the earthquake. He was a faithful member of Brownsville Baptist Church when he moved to Brownsville in 2016. He is survived by a son Dan (Gina); Brownsville, TN, a daughter, Denise (Matt) Wiley, Mesa, AZ; and their mother, Judith Zahn, Mesa, AZ, his brother, Marlin (Joy), Sheboygan, WI and his brother-in-law, Thomas Mueller, Sheboygan Falls, WI. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was greeted in heaven by his parents; his son David; his siblings: Carl (Joan); Earl (Angie), Richard; Ruth (Larry) Ciske; and Martha Mueller. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in Memphis, TN.
