Eleanor spent her entire career as a bookkeeper. She had an incredible talent for sewing, creating garments for herself, her children, and grandchildren over the years. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 54 years. They worked several years together in pastoral roles at churches in Arkansas and Tennessee, playing the piano, singing, and ministering wherever God led.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 54 years, Harold Hopper; her children, Derrick (Kim) Hopper, and Christy (Alex) Janes; grandchildren, Syndi (Gil) Beloate, Brooklyn Janes, Lauren Janes; and her sister, Paula (Hal) Gwinn.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Russ Carraway and Ethelyn Mae Phillips Carraway.
