Elizabeth Parrish Vigus, 92, moved from her abundant and full life here on Earth to her Heavenly home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus on October 27, 2022. She was at home surrounded by her loving sons and their wives, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Her sister, Josephine Parrish, sons, Ron (Joyce), Don (Connie), Mark (Kelly) and Tim (Robin) Vigus survive her as well as grandchildren, Liz Vigus, David Vigus, Warren Vigus, Skyler Vigus, Bridget Proctor, Kinsey Vigus, Bryce Vigus and ten great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her late husband, John T. Vigus, two sisters, and two brothers.
Mrs. Vigus was a long-time member of National Avenue Baptist Church and its successor, New Church Memphis, where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years. Her love of God and her family and friends were central to her life.
She was the founder and President of Pretty Little Things, a hairbow and accessory manufacturer, and worked there until she was 88 years old.
Visitation will be at Memphis Funeral Home on Germantown Road on Sunday, October 30, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and the service will be there as well on Monday, October 31, 2022, at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Memorial Park on Poplar following the service.
