Ellis was a retiree of Coca-Cola in Memphis, Tennessee. He enjoyed watching Ole Miss football games and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Asbury McMillen and Ula Blanche McMillen (née Owens); his devoted wife, Clara McMillen (Hall); two daughters, Tonya Crisp and Michelle Harper; and his sister, Wanda Gibson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving grandchildren, Ashley Egan, Kayla Irwin, Chelsea Follis, and Hunter Harper; a host of great-grandchildren; his brother-in-law, Frank Gibson; and his sister-in-law, Barbara Templeton.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 29, beginning at 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home in Bartlett, Tennessee.
