Elmer Forrest Huddleston, Jr. passed away on November 12th, 2023 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 88. Elmer was born on December 15, 1934 to Elmer F. Sr and Eunice Huddleston. He is proceeded in death by his parents and his sister Martha Pauline Craig.
Elmer was a dedicated and hard working individual throughout his life. He served in the Air National Guard and pursued a successful career as a Sales Manager for Bush Brothers.
Elmer was a man of faith. He was a Charter and lifelong member of Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served as an Elder, Treasurer, and Sunday school teacher; demonstrating his commitment to the church community.
In his free time, Elmer enjoyed various hobbies. He was an avid photographer and loved capturing special moments with his camera. He loved boating at Pickwick lake, fish No and spending quality time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Elmer will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 68 years, Carolyn, his son Steven Huddleston and daughters Edye Mader ( Don ) and Anne Moffatt.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18th from 12:00-2:00pm at Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bartlett, Tennessee followed by funeral services at 2:00. A private burial will take place at New Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church General Fund in honor of his memory.
