Erskin Oneil Hubbard, 79 of Cordova, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis. Born in Friendship, TN on January 25, 1932, Mr. Hubbard served in the Air Force from 1952 – 1956. On April 7, 1957 he married Jane Randle Hubbard in Tupelo, MS. He retired from IBM after 30 years of service as a Field Engineering Manager. He was a longtime member of Colonial Country Club. He also enjoyed playing bridge, golf, cooking, fishing and dancing with Jane. Surviving Mr. Hubbard is his wife of 54 years, Jan Hubbard; his three children, Milleigh (Jamie) Pearson, Jana (Gary) Beaty, and Neil (Libby) Hubbard; seven grandchildren, Jamie and Emily Beaty, Will and Ben Pearson, Matthew, Noah, and Luke Hubbard all of Memphis. He is also survived by two sisters, Rose Williams of Bartlett, and Marjorie Hixon of Sebring, FL. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN on Wednesday, October 19 from 5-7. Funeral services will be at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown Parkway on Thursday, October 20 at 2:00.
