I don't even know what to say......I was devastated when I heard about Ximena and the tragedy that took place this last week. Ximena was a very special friend we saw each other weekly and talked about our families, our life events , well just about anything.

We had been friends for about 18 years. She was probably was one of the most hard working persons I knew. She thought of her family first in all situations. She loved her country and worked hard to be a citizen. She was a single mom when I first met her. Lucas, attended FACS in our Jrk program. He was 4 now in his 20's. We became fast friends. She loved life and was always looking for the next adventure. She planned a huge party for Nick and did all the decorations. Our family will miss her so much even my 3 year old grandson that loved "manna" We sat around telling all our Ximena stories the other night and just laughed. She was a real Firecracker!!!I will be praying for Nick, Lucas, Martina and Liam. I am confronted knowing she is in the arms of a loving Savior. I have a Hope that I will see her again Praise God!!

What aching sorrow to hear of Ximena's passing. She could brighten a room with her happy personality. I'm glad I knew her. My thoughts are with Nick and his family.

It all began when my daughter, Isla, and Martina became best friends at school. If you saw one, you saw the other. With Ximena’s bubbly personality, she began to reach out to me which turned into a friendship that I will cherish forever. I will never forget the smile that I always got, or how caring she was for everyone around her. She was full of life and loved her family with everything she had. My favorite memory was one evening at Italian Festival, she and I decided to take the girls on a fair ride. We forgot that they were 2. The higher we got, their faces became priceless and our stomachs began to hurt from laughing so hard. She was also the best “living-room fort builder”. I always remember thinking to myself how wonderful of a mother she was. She will be greatly missed by many. Praying daily for Nick, Lukas, Liam, Martina, family and friends, may God give you strength and comfort.

My little Chilean rockstar, oh how you are missed! You were my friend from the moment we met. A beautiful smile was always on your face along with a beautiful, fun spirit. That will live on and show through your children. To Nicholas, Lukas, Liam, Martina, and the rest of the family, love and prayers to you all. God bless.
