Faye Hobby Floyd

Faye Hobby Floyd, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on November 17, 2016; she was 82. She most recently resided with her daughter in Birmingham, Alabama. She was a registered nurse for Lifeblood having worked there for the majority of her career. Faye enjoyed travelling with her sister, cooking for others, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church while in Birmingham and a former member of Leawood East Baptist Church. Faye was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Jim Floyd and her brother, J.T. Hobby. She is survived by her children, Bob Floyd (D.J.) of Houston, Texas, Mona Wright (Donald) of Birmingham, Alabama, and Mark Floyd (Leah) of Memphis; her sister, Pat Stein of St. Petersburg, Florida; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 21 from ten o'clock until the time of funeral services at eleven o'clock at Leawood East Baptist Church, 1620 N.
