Florence Gaia Barrasso, 83, of Memphis, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014. Ms. Barrasso will be remembered for her fun loving spirit and the care for others. She was preceded in death by her husband William James Barrasso, Sr., son William James Barrasso, Jr., a grandson Chad Barrasso, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Ms. Barrasso is survived by her grandchildren Wesley Barrasso and Philip Barrasso, sisters Mary Alice Dunn and Joyce Gaia Foster, and many nieces, nephews, and friends that dearly loved her. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, March 18 from 12-1pm with the funeral starting at 1pm at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. The burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
