Floyd R Sanders, 73, of Bartlett, TN, passed away Tuesday morning after battling a long illness. Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife Martha of 48 years, two sons Robert and William and five grandchildren. Floyd was a retired credit manager spending the bulk of his career with the Goodyear Corp and the last 22 years with Conwood, Corp. Floyd was a member of Ellendale United Methodist Church where he was a lay leader, Sunday school teacher and member of the choir. Floyd also was a member of Gideon’s International and was a regular blood donor until his health did not allow. Visitation is will be Friday evening from 5pm until 8pm with services the following day at 10am. Both visitation and the service will be held at Ellendale United Methodist Church. Memphis Funeral Home has charge. The family asks in lieu of flowers to make a donation to Gideon’s International or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
