Frances Louise Lewellen

Frances Louise Lewellen, 79, died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at her Memphis home. Mrs. Lewellen was a 1950 graduate of Gideon High School, Gideon, MO and attended Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. She worked many years for Cherry Road Baptist Church in the daycare. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Lewellen. Surviving, is her husband of 57 years, John A. Lewellen; and her son, Brent and Jill Lewellen of Rossville, TN; her grandson, Kyle Lewellen; and two sisters, Georgia Vaught of Maumelle, AR, and Vada Morgan of Bernie, MO. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett on Monday, February 13 from 5 – 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at Memphis Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens (formerly Memory Hill Gardens). The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Heart Association.
