Gary was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Allene Hardin, his sisters Janie Roland and Annie Mae Markham; and his brothers Charles Hardin and James Hardin.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Marion Eloise Hardin, his daughter Judy Hodge (Stanley), step-daughters Kim Rogers (Byron), Shanna Blackwell (Michael), his grandchildren, Melissa Hodge, Dalton Rogers (Caitlin), Garrett Rogers (Maddy), Nathan Blackwell, and Alyssa Blackwell, and one great-grandson Daxton Rogers.
A visitation will be held Saturday May 9, 2026 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens; 3700 N Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN 38133 from 12:30PM to 2:30PM.
