Gary Voyles

Gary Lee Voyles, 54, of Bartlett, TN, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016. He was born on December 13, 1961 in Memphis, TN to the late Roy Lee Voyles Jr. and Darlene Joyce Moen Voyles. Gary graduated from Trezvant High School and attended the University of Memphis for 2 years. He retired from 1st Tennessee Bank Credit Card Operations after 31 years. After his retirement Gary worked for Mid-South Vending and River City Merchandising, and volunteered for United Way. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Laurie Lynn Gandy, his grandparents Roy Lee Voyles Sr., Dorothy Voyles-Cooper, Lenora Moen, Walter Moen, and his father-in-law Carroll Etheridge. Gary is survived by his loving wife Debbie Voyles, his son Ryan Lee Voyles, his daughter Amanda Carroll Voyles, his uncle Billy Ray Voyles (Brenda), his step-mother Junell Voyles, his step-sister Darlene Robilio (Joe), his step brother Tim Grubbs, his brother-in-law’s, Danny Etheridge (Kim), David Etheridge (Christina), his mother-in-law Dorothy Etheridge, and many loving nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm, on Thursday, January 14, 2016, with funeral services at 10am on Friday, January 15, 2016, all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown RD., Bartlett, TN 38133. The family requests any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
