Gene H. Boyd, 78, of Arlington, TN passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017. He was the owner of Boyd and Sons Real Estate and Investments, Inc. Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife, Delores Boyd; two sons, Mark D. Boyd and Darrell A. Boyd, both of Arlington; two sisters, Barbara Depoistor of Camden, Ky. And Sherry Smith of Chattanooga, TN; three brothers, Bob Boyd of Jonesboro, AR, Tommy Boyd of Missouri and Conrad Boyd of Arlington, TN; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gleen W. Boyd; a son, Gary E. Boyd; sister, Frances Sanders and three brothers, Ed Boyd, Carl Wayne Boyd and Frank Boyd. The family will receive friends this evening, Wednesday, January 4 from 6-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 5. Entombment will follow in Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
