George Robert Coleman, a devoted, humorous and hard-working family man, passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on July 6, 1948, in Memphis, Tennessee, George was a cherished resident of Bartlett, Tennessee.
In his early years, George demonstrated remarkable skills and determination, having built his first house, a testament to his hard-working nature. He was a man of many talents and interests, including enjoying the lake life, yard work, and tinkering in his shop.
George was a beloved family man, having been married to his wife, Debbie, for 36 years. He is survived by his children; Brian Coleman (Lana), Jeremy Coleman, and Ashley Onsby (Justin); and one sister, Kay Cobb. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Chandler Coleman, Kylee Coleman, Logen Onsby, Hayes Onsby, Christian Coleman, and Kynslie Onsby.
A man of the community, George enjoyed breakfast with his Chick-fil-a friends and traveling with the Tiger basketball fan club. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
