After he graduated with a business major from Ole Miss, Oxford, MS he worked in tax accounting.
Chad loved God and was a member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church where he sang in the choir, played in the Orchestra and hand bell choir.
He was an avid fan of Ole Miss, the Cardinals and the Saints team. Chad found great pleasure in visiting with his friends and family, listening to music, reading the Bible. He enjoyed visiting the library and reading books.
Chad is preceded in death by his grandparents; Hubert and Dale Tutor and Earl and Virginia Hawkins. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Ruth Tutor, his mother Rita Hawkins Garner, his brother Jared Tutor and his Uncle, Tommy Hawkins and his Aunt, Lana Bridges (Murray), his Niece, Charlie Kate Tutor and his cousins, Kim Simmerman and Allyson Wilkinson.
A visitation for Gerald will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
