Geraldine M. “Gerry” Freeman, 91, of Memphis, passed away Wednesday March 26, 2014 in Bartlett. Mrs. Freeman, the widow of Elton Freeman, was a faithful member of Capleville United Methodist Church. She worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Memphis until leaving to take care of her home and children full-time. She enjoyed bowling, trivia contests, and serving with her fellow church members in many capacities. Mrs. Freeman is survived by her daughter, Nancy Crone (Don), her son, Tony Freeman (Bonnie), and two grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held Saturday March 29, 2014 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to Capleville United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
