Gladys Ruth Wright, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away September 30, 2026 at the age of 93 years. She was born March 6, 1933 in Tishomingo County, MS to her parents Charles Claude Humber and Flora Ruth (Wynn) Humber. She moved to Memphis, TN after her marriage, where she lived the remainder of her years. She began her career as a florist before owning and managing Wright’s Bootery with her husband Tulion and son Charles for many years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Mark Wright, grandchildren Keith Wright, Heather Coffee, and Kylee Wright, great-grandchildren Ellie Moore and Jonah Coffee, brother Denton Humber, and sister Wilmer Hodge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Tulion Wright, Sr., sons Donnie Wright and Charles Tulion Wright, Jr., sister Evelyn Anglin, and brothers Thurman Humber, Sherman Humber, and John Humber. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, October 6 as well as 1-2 pm on Wednesday, October 7.
