Greg was born on August 29, 1961, in Newport, AR to David and Emily Burton. Greg will be remembered by almost everyone he ever met. He was known for his humor and adventurous spirit. He cooked amazing food, traveled far and loved hard. He taught us all to not take ourselves too seriously. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Burton, his sister Linda Parr (A.K.A. Bird!), brother in law, William Parr, niece, Maddy Parr Salzer, daughter, Cassie Burton Greenbaum, step daughter, Kristin Williams, grandchildren, Lake and Adrienne, and many friends.
His family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this time.
The family will receive friends,Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 1:00pm until his Celebration of Life at 2:00pm all being held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133
