Helen Baker Wilkes, 88, of Southaven, MS, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016. She was a retired employee of Sears and a member of Gracewood Baptist Church. Helen was preceded in death by her husband John F. Wilkes Jr., her parents David Pickens Baker and Sarah Opal Baker, her sister Katherine Travis, her brother William David Baker, and her son-in-law Scotty Dillard. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Wilkes Branum (Jimmie) of Nesbit, MS, Pamela Wilkes Dillard of Eads, TN, her two sisters Betty Webb of Texarkana, TX, Shirley Deming of Bolivar, TN, and three grandchildren Richard Branum of Enville, TN, Laura Dillard of Eads, TN, and Ashley Berry (Bryce) of Conway, AR. The family will receive friends from 10am, until service time at 11, at Gracewood Baptist Church in Southaven, MS. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be sent to Gracewood Baptist Church.
