Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Willie B. Roaten and Eavie S. Roaten, and by her brother David Roaten.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Haynes (David); her sisters Shelby Van Slooten and Debbie Hurt (Terry); her brother Jeff Roaten; and her granddaughter Laura Haynes.
Jean lived in Clearwater, Florida, for 42 years, where she loved gardening and spending time at the beach. She was a highly respected real estate professional known for her integrity throughout her career. She and her sister Shelby were very close. Her granddaughter, Laura, was the brightest light in her heart. Her bond with both of them was the greatest joy of her life.
Jean will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and the deep love she carried for her family.
