DR. J. MARK SLEDGE, 45, died Monday, January 28, 2013. Dr. Sledge is survived by his wife, Rebecca Sledge; stepdaughter, Alana Kang; his parents, Jim and Martha Sledge of Bartlett; sister, Donna Holzlohner (Wayne) of Charlotte, NC; nephew, Jonathan Brunjes of Crumpler, NC; Katie McKittrick (Kyle) of Johnson City, TN. Dr. Sledge was a plastic surgeon, trained at University of Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, January 31 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Rd. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, February 1 at the funeral home, with interment to follow in Memphis Memory Gardens. The family requests memorials be directed to Grimes Memorial United Methodist Church, 4649 Summer Ave., Memphis, TN or the charity of the donor’s choice.
