Jafus Beauguard "JB" Mullenix

Jafus Beauguard “JB” Mullenix, 93 of Memphis, TN passed away July 15th, 2018. He trusted Jesus, The Christ, as his Savior. JB was a member of Bartlett Baptist Church. He was born in Pickens County, Alabama to James Passon and Rena Lee Mullenix. JB is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Donald Richard, his siblings, Stillman, Eugene, Ward, Mary, Wilma, Lula Mae, Ophellia, Brenda and Thelma. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and husband to Elsie Mae Mullenix for 68 years. JB is survived by his son, Dennis Michael of Bartlett,TN, his brother Rev Robert Mullenix of Columbia, TN , numerous grandchildren, Stephen Michael Mullenix (Julia) of Blaine, WA, Julie Glass (John) of Covington, TN, Sara King (Daniel) of Arlington, TX and Rachel Mitchell (Stephen) of Bartlett, TN, seven great grandchildren, Ella Mullenix, Stephen Mullenix Jr., Sawyer Mullenix, Adelaide and Grady Grass, Clayton Mitchell and Grace King.

JB was a retired 30 year Navy veteran, serving in WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War and the Soviet –USA Cold War. He was an aircraft mechanic achieving the rank of E-9 Master Chief.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 19th, 2018 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens from 1:00PM to 2:00PM with a service to follow .
