James Leo Bradley (83), affectionately known as Jimmy or Uncle Jimmy, of Southaven, MS, passed away on March 30, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.
Jimmy was born on July 21, 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee to Henry Leo and Sue Faught Bradley. He grew up in Memphis and attended Messick High School. After serving in the National Guard and a lengthy career working for the railroad, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting railroad memorabilia and antique clocks. In 2003, he married Nancy Lee Webber, and, together, they enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Nancy of 23 years, sisters Betty Estes (Jim) and Helen Bradley, brother Tony Logan and his many nieces and nephews who were very special to him. He is preceded in death by his parents Sue and Henry Bradley, sister Beverly Berryman, and brother Alvin Bradley.
The family will receive visitors Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 1:00-2:00 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. Services to follow at 2:00.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of choice.
Nancy would like to give special thanks to all caregivers and particularly Gary Simpson. She is especially thankful for everyone’s support and prayers over the past few months. Thank you to Sushi, his neighbor’s dog, for bringing Jimmy such joy in recent weeks.
