James Melvin Kennedy, 89, of Franklin, TN, formerly of Bartlett, TN, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Mr. Kennedy, a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran, is survived by his wife of 71 years, Carlene Kennedy. He is also survived by his son, Steve Kennedy (Brenda), his daughter, Vicki McNalley (Ron), his sister, Dorothy Hamm, and his brother, Jerry Kennedy, as well as four grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, February 13, 2014 from 9am until the service begins at 10am, all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett. Private interment will follow onsite.
