James “Jimmy” LaHue, 84, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away on June 9, 2016. Mr. LaHue was a quiet and caring man as well as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of the Church of the Nativity in Bartlett and retired from United Liquors as sales manager. In high school, Mr. LaHue was a very active athlete. In more recent years, he was an avid golfer, a member of the Football Foundation Hall of Fame, the Liberty Bowl, the Highland Hundred, Ra-Met and an active member of Society of St. Vincent de Paul (Nativity Chapter). Mr. LaHue was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Della Barrasso and step-father, Mr. Albert Barrasso. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mrs. Sylvia Bayliff LaHue, and his three children, Mr. Steve LaHue (Julie), Mrs. Lisa Vick (Travis), and Mr. Neal LaHue (Margaret). He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Paul LaHue, Joseph Roys, Liza Roys, Claire LaHue, Anais LaHue, and Michael LaHue. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Church of the Nativity or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
