James R. Lovett, 81, of Memphis died, Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Poplar Point Health and Rehab. Mr. Lovett was a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Libby Lovett; and his brother, Charles Lovett. Surviving are his sons Jimmy Lovett and wife, Pamala of Oklahoma; Ronnie Lovett and wife Billie of Arlington; and daughter Laurie Allen of Memphis; two grandsons, Eddie Lovett and wife Eli of Salt Lake City; Danny Allen of Southaven; and one granddaughter Brienne Allen of Memphis; two great-grandchildren Caleb Allen, and Everett Lovett; and one sister, Alma Jean Johnson of Muskegon, MI. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown Parkway Bartlett at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Memphis Memory Gardens.
