James Clebert Taylor, 84, of Memphis, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2010. He was a member of Macon Road Baptist Church and was a U. S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Taylor, the husband of Jean Taylor, for 56 years, also leaves 2 brothers, Edward Taylor of Memphis and Connie Taylor of Mesa, AZ; and 4 sisters, Thelma Dennie of Collierville, Virginia Holmes of Lexington, TN, Ruby Callahan of Holly Springs, MS and Joyce Atkeison of Somerville, TN. Funeral services and interment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 6 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to the Building Fund at Macon Rd. Baptist Church.
