Jane Christian Broeker, 75, was born in Sturgis, KY on May 27th, 1938 and passed on August 18, 2013. In her younger years she was a model and charm school director for Goldsmiths’ Dept. Store. Jane was a business educator and vo-tech teacher in the Memphis City Schools for 17 years. After leaving the school system, she worked at 23 Idlewild and Joan Franks Boutique for a number of years. Jane leaves a daughter, Leiza Collins and two granddaughters, Catherine-Anne Collins and Emily Collins. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Friday, August 23 at Christ United Methodist Church in the Reeves Chapel; 4488 Poplar Ave at 6pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memphis Humane Society, 935 Farm Rd.
