Jeannie Ann Disney, 81, of Bartlett, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012. She was preceded in death by, her daughter, Patti Ray and eight siblings. Mrs. Disney leaves behind, her loving husband of 60 years, Arthur L. Disney, children, Denise Allen (Rick), Terri Jones (Danny), Cheryl Pellegra (Mike), and Michael Disney, twelve grandchildren, Shannon Pavesic, David Padgett, Jennifer McMurry, Natalie Yarbro, Erica Daniel, Nathan Pellegra, Lindsey Dyer, Luke Pellegra, Rebekah Disney, Dale Disney, Jessica Ray, and Matt Ray, 15 great-grandchildren who loved their “G-G-Ma,” and a brother, Robert Lawler. Mrs. Disney brought joy to everyone who knew her whether she was the loving wife, mother, grandmother, G-G-Ma, or friend. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Nativity, 5955 Saint Elmo Road. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Crossroads Hospice for their excellent care and loving kindness. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 12 from 5-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. and a funeral on Thursday at 2pm.
