Jeffery Alan Hetzler passed away on February 4, 2021 in Memphis, TN. Jeff was born in Maine on August 28, 1960 and grew up in central Florida. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps and traveled the world while serving the country that he loved. He married the love of his life, Kathryn Annmarie on August 8, 2006. While living in North Carolina, Jeff achieved a life-long dream of getting his pilot’s license. He was well-respected and revered in his professional life and won many accolades for his accomplishments. He was a wonderful friend to so many, and once he befriended you, it was a lifetime investment on his part. His greatest love was his family. He leaves behind his parents, Gerald Hetzler and Ann Marie Woodruff, 3 brothers, Herald, Douglas, and Robert Hetzler, his brother-in-law JR Massey and sister-in-law Jennifer Jones (Brian), and his children, Crissy Hetzler Kiep (Aaron), Christopher Hetzler (Breanna), Kevin Hetzler (Laurel), Mandie Dycus (Brandon), AJ Copeland (Tahyler), and Alyssa Shoffner (Chris). He considered his crowning achievement to be his 13 granddaughters and 4 grandsons. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN. Donations can be made in the family’s honor to St Jude Children's Hospital.
