Jeffery Christian Woo, known as either "Chris" or "Jeffery" to his friends and family, age 21, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Jeffery was born in Memphis, TN on June 13, 2002 to Mr. Jeff Woo and Ms. Kimberly Gwyn.
Jeffery was a man of unique music tastes; ranging from sad country, rap, all the way to Billie Eilish. He enjoyed soccer, bowling, music, clothing, and most importantly, shoes and his grooves. You would almost never catch him sitting still, especially not dancing. He was loyal to his friends without a fault and loved them like family. You could be having the worst day and talk to him, and he could turn your day around within seconds. He had the most beautiful, contagious smile. He had an amazing sense of humor and would make you laugh so hard your sides would hurt. "I love you, be safe".
He is survived by his father, Jeff Woo; his siblings, Nathaniel and Victoria Woo, Gabe Lawhone, mother, Kimberly Gwyn, grandparents, Jack and Susie Woo, Mary Embrey, and a host of other relatives.
A visitation for Jeffery will be held Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at First Chinese Baptist Church, 7555 Macon Road, Cordova, TN 38018. A funeral service will occur Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 7555 Macon Road, Cordova, TN 38018. A committal service will occur Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
