We gather to honor and celebrate the life of Jeff Segerson, who departed this life on September 10, 2026, at the age of 68.
Jeff was a dedicated employee of The Commercial Appeal for 47 years. He was widely known for his love of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys, as well as his pride in maintaining an immaculate yard and going catfishing with his buddies. Above all, his profound love for his family and friends was abundantly clear to everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Steven and Justin Segerson; his parents, Billie and Jerry Segerson; his sister, Wanda Woods; and his brother, Wayne Segerson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Renee Segerson; his daughters, Sherry and Kimberly Segerson; his stepson, Kris Goudy (Mandy); his stepdaughters, Candice Goudy, Tina Roeland (Pieter), Kelly Walker, and Jenny Hillhouse (Brian); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Garry and James Segerson.
Funeral services will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Friday, September 18, 2026, with arrangements as follows:
