Jere Lee Batten, 64 of Arlington passed away October 8, 2011. Jere served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was employed with Plant Maintenance Service Corp. for 30+ years. He leaves behind is wife Helen; children Jere Batten, Jr. (Hayley), Michael Batten, Lisa Graham (Brian); grandchildren Zach, Kyle, McKenzie, Colby, Jackson; brother Tommy; sisters Carolyn, Betty, Elaine, Judy, Robbie, and Debbie. The family will receive friends on Monday October 10 from 5-7:30 pm with services and interment on Tuesday October 11 at 2 pm all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
