Jere Lee Batten, Jr. 42 a lineman with MLG&W passed away December 2, 2013. Jere is survived by his daughter 13 year old, McKenzie Kate Batten, son,16 year old, Zachary Tyler Batten, Mother, Helen Batten, sister, Lisa Graham (Brian), brother Michael Batten and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Jere Lee Batten, Sr. Jere touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4 from 5-8 pm and funeral services will be at 10 am on Thursday, December 5 all will be at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Memorials may be made in Jere’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
