Jere Kingsbury

He was born to the late Jere and Wilfred Kingsbury on March 10th, 1942. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Downing Kingsbury and his son, Chad Kingsbury. Jere graduated from the University of Memphis and was a retired Certified Public Accountant. He was a long-time member of the Memphis Sports Shooting Association and served as Treasurer.

Jere is survived by his wife of 25 years, Thelma Kingsbury; step-sons, Mark Jones (Jennifer), Michael Jones (Angelica); grandchildren, Maggie and Max Kingsbury; step-grandchildren, Finnian Jones, Vivien Jones, Rhys Jones, Aidan Jones, and Clarissa Jones.

Family will receive friends from 9:00am to 10:00am on Saturday, February 19th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. A memorial service will follow at 10:00am.
