Jerry Wayne Hardy, 72, of Bartlett, TN, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. He retired from MLG&W after 28 years and after retirement went to work for Enterprise for 10 years. Jerry was born in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Harry and Susie Hardy. He was as graduate of Dyersburg High School and attended Lambeth College. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Pat, his daughters Beth Hardy Summerford (Mark), Lori Hardy, his two grandchildren Ren Summerford and Robyn Summerford, two sisters Mary Hardy and Sandi Hendren as well as host of family and friends that loved him. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm, on Friday, April 21, 2017, with funeral services at 10am, on Saturday, April 22, 2017, all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett, TN, 38133. Jerry was an avid animal lover and loved his granddogs and grandcats and because of his love for them in lieu of flowers please send memorials to the Bartlett Animal Shelter or the Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County.
