Jerry B. Hughes, 72, of Bartlett passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital-Memphis. He was an auto parts sales representative for Parts Inc. & CarQuest. Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by his brothers, James C. Hughes and Marion E. Hughes; and is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Hughes; brother, Robert Walter Hughes (Nadine); sisters, Evelyn Hughes Evans (Bill) and Carrie Nell Hughes Shepard (Bobby); host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until service time at 10:00 am, Friday, February 7, 2014 at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN. The family requests that memorials be sent to Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America/Tennessee Chapter, 95 White Bridge Road # 209, Nashville, TN 37205, American Heart Association and the Memphis/Shelby County Humane Society.
