Jerry McClure, 58 of Cordova, beloved husband, father, son and brother, died May 7, 2011 in Heber Springs, AR. Jerry was an accomplished businessman, sailor, and animal lover. He leaves his wife, Diana; daughter, Payton Maryl; son, Matthew Dale; parents, John and Thelma; brother, Terry; sister, Jane Josey; as well as aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, countless friends and Peetie, Buddy, Sport and Gracie. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 10, from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Germantown Road. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, at First Unitarian Church, Church at the River. A graveside service will follow at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (formerly Memory Hill Gardens). In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Jerry’s honor to The National Humane Society of the United States or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Memphis Chapter.
