A good Man, a good husband, father and grandfather to my my sons, Sam and Zac.

He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Daddy loved to tell two stories, both involving breasts. The first one is that when grandmother got to where she didn’t want to wear a bra, Inna Joe went over and said, “Leron, let’s turn them Nanners into fried eggs”. He would just throw back his head and laugh.

The other one happened at Bells. All the boys and men would go out to the fields to work. When they came in for lunch, they would take their shirts off to cool down and eat at the table shirtless. Mama Jernigan did not like that at all. Every time they came in, she got on to them. So one day, Mama got fed up. The boys and men came in from the field and promptly took their shirts off. . Mama excused herself and went back to her room. She came back with nothing on from her waist up. Daddy said they all sat there in complete silence and never did that again.
