James “Jim” Stewart, 92, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 5th, 2022.

He was born to the late Dexter and Olivia on July 29th, 1930 in Middleton, Tennessee. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Stewart and his sisters Estelle Axton and Lucille McAlpin.

Jim is survived by his children, Jeff Stewart, Lori Stewart, Shannon Stewart; grandchildren, Jennifer Stewart and Alyssa Luibel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be made to the Stax Music Academy, 910 E. McLemore Ave, Memphis, TN 38106.

Services held will be private.
